LM4041CIM3X-ADJ Does Not Need External Stabilizing Capacitor

LM4041CIM3X-ADJ is a precision micropower shunt voltage reference. Its SOT-23 package can be surface mounted, making this part an excellent solution to applications that are space critical. LM4041CIM3X-ADJ has an advanced design that ensures stability with any capacitive load. The reverse breakdown voltage tolerance at 25° C is ±0.5%. The average reverse breakdown voltage temperature coefficient is 100ppm/°C at 25° C.

Useful in a Variety of Environments

The applications of LM4041CIM3X-ADJ vary widely. It can be used in portable, battery-powered products, process control, precision auto components, as well as in data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and energy management.

LM4041CIM3X-ADJ requires a minimum of a 60μA operating currents, but it maxes out at 12mA. The industrial temperature range is -40° to 125°C. Although an external capacitor is not necessary for stable operation, if a bypass capacitor is connected between the “+” and “-” the component remains stable.
